Rental Policies
Most rentals are quoted custom, dates are not confirmed until reviewed, and clients are responsible for items while in their possession.
Rental period
- Standard rental period is up to 3 days unless otherwise discussed.
- Extended rental periods may be available for an additional fee based on availability.
Pickup & returns
- Pickup and return times will be arranged at the time of booking.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring rented items fit safely and securely in their vehicle during transport.
- Late returns may result in additional rental fees.
Delivery & pickup
- Local delivery and pickup can be added to rental requests.
- Events outside the local area may include additional travel fees based on distance from Owen Sound.
Linen rentals
- A mandatory $25 linen care fee applies to all linen rentals.
- This fee covers laundering, steaming, inspection, and preparation of all linen items.
- Linens must be returned free of excessive food debris.
- Additional replacement or damage fees may apply for burns, wax, mildew, permanent staining, or excessive damage.
Damage & responsibility
- Clients are responsible for all rental items while in their possession.
- Items must be returned in the same condition they were received.
- Damaged, missing, or stolen items will result in replacement charges.
Outdoor use & weather
- Outdoor rentals must be protected from rain, severe weather, and unsafe conditions.
- Certain items may not be suitable for outdoor use.
Balloon decor
- Custom balloon decor and balloon garlands are final sale.
- While HD Party Supplies uses professional-grade balloons, outdoor weather conditions and heat may affect balloon longevity.
